Privacy Policy
What stays on your device, what leaves it, and the controls available to you.

01Introduction
This policy explains how information is handled when you use Varlia, a personal asset-tracking, portfolio-analysis, and savings-goal app.
02What Varlia does
Varlia helps you track assets, transactions, costs, goals, and portfolio performance. It does not hold or transfer funds, execute trades, connect to brokerage accounts, or provide personalised investment advice.
03Data stored on your device
Financial records are primarily stored in the app’s local database. Varlia has no account or sign-in system and does not automatically upload these records to a Varlia cloud profile. Android automatic app-data backup is disabled; other system backup behaviour depends on the platform and device settings.
04Market-data requests
Varlia sends instrument identifiers and requested time ranges to Supabase-backed market infrastructure. Providers may process IP address and ordinary network metadata. Locally stored financial records are not sent with these requests.
05Backup, export, and restore
Only at your request, Varlia exports financial records as plaintext JSON and opens the system share sheet. Backups are not automatically uploaded or represented as application-level encrypted. A selected backup is validated before it atomically replaces local financial records.
06Local notifications
Goal reminders are scheduled locally. Varlia uses no Expo push token or remote delivery system for them. Deleting financial data cancels scheduled Varlia goal reminders.
07Subscriptions and providers
Varlia uses Supabase for public market data and RevenueCat for Varlia Pro entitlement management. Apple App Store or Google Play processes payments. RevenueCat may process an anonymous App User ID, technical platform data, purchase or subscription information, store receipts or tokens, and entitlement status. Financial records and backup contents are not sent to RevenueCat to determine Pro access.
08Analytics, advertising, and tracking
Varlia currently includes no advertising, behavioural analytics, third-party usage analytics, external crash-reporting SDK, or advertising-identifier collection. This site uses no analytics cookies or trackers.
09Retention and deletion
“Delete Financial Data” permanently removes local financial records while preserving preferences, onboarding choice, the public market-price cache, and Varlia Pro state. Previously exported backups are outside the app and are not deleted.
10Your choices and control
You can edit records, export or restore a backup, disable notifications, or delete the complete local financial workspace. Because there is no Varlia account or cloud financial profile, there is no separate cloud-account deletion flow.
11Children
Varlia is not directed to children and is not designed specifically for use by children.
12Security limitations
Local storage and sharing depend on your device and chosen services. The database and JSON backups are not represented as app-level encrypted. Absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
13Policy changes
We may update this policy when the app or its services change. The current version and effective date are published here.
